This is a website that is aimed at a range of women, from the seriously fit to the complete newbie. On this site you will find lots of advice and info on keeping fit and staying healthy. There will also be a tonne of interviews, blog posts, reviews, recipes and sporting news. The predominant focus will be on women but there will also be plenty of info that the guys out there can take away.
A bit about me…..
I am a passionate sport enthusiast but I will admit that I am a little afraid of the gym. However, this is something I wish to overcome. I have so many sporting and fitness ambitions and I hope to share my journey with you over the coming months and years.
My hobbies outside of work include sport, sport and more sport. I have recently got involved in ultra distance races and I have recently swum the English Channel and completed a 50 mile ultra marathon. That’s not to say I’ve always been a wanna be athlete. I had a couple of lazy years during my early twenties, but now that I’m back on it I’m on a bit of a mission to spread the word and get everyone involved!
The blog part of this website will be dedicated to documenting my sporting endeavours, most notably, all the big training sessions and events I will be doing in the lead up to my Arch to Arc attempt this summer. This event will involve me running the 87 miles from London to Dover, swimming across the English Channel and finally cycling 181 miles into Paris.
I really hope you enjoy reading all about all my trials and tribulations along the way and look forward to hearing from some of you who are trining for similar challenges.
There will also be regular contributions from some of my friends who are either gym junkies themselves or trying to lose weight or just running or swimming an event that we feel you might like to read about.
